The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, with support from Arcoro, has released a new report detailing actionable solutions for firms to strengthen their talent pipeline, from attracting new workers to developing the next generation of industry leaders.

The report, “Embracing New Strategies to Build the Future Workforce,” reflects on outcomes from the 2024 National Construction Industry HR & Workforce Conference. Supported by real-world examples from organizations across the country, the report’s solutions are organized into three key categories: recruiting, retention, and workforce training.

This report offers a roadmap for companies to take that first step toward strengthening their workforce, fueled by the proven successes of their industry peers.”

Jeffrey Shoaf, CEO of the Associated General Contractors of America, added, “This report catalogues the many steps AGC members and chapters are taking to address construction workforce shortages across the country.
